Field Visit at RIVM, Bilthoven

🚗🔬 Yesterday, MARKOPOLO coordinator Andreas Daiber had the pleasure of going on a Field Visit to the Netherlands, hosted by Scientific and Ethical Advisory Board (SEAB) member Flemming R. Cassee at the RIVM National Institute for Public Health and the Environment in Bilthoven, the Netherlands. 🌷

Andreas Daiber delivered a talk on “Health effects of traffic noise and (ultrafine) particulate matter”, sparking a lively and insightful discussion with leading experts in the field, including Elise van Kempen, Arnold Bergstra, Floor Borlee, Jan-Paul Zock, Jochem Klompmaker, PhD, Jurriaan Hoekstra, Rik Bogers, Jos van Triel, Miriam Gerlofs-Nijland, Ilse Gosens, Paul Ruyssenaars, Ric van Poll, PhD, Marije Reedijk, Sendrick Simon and others.

The visit concluded with a tour of the RIVM labs – an inspiring day of science, exchange, and collaboration!
