About the position:
The Work, Environment and Cancer research group is a dynamic team of researchers dedicated to studying the effects of environmental and occupational exposures on the development of cancer and other diseases.
You will be involved in the EU-funded research project, Markopolo, which is a large international consortium project aiming to study the health effects of air pollution and traffic noise.
We will contribute to the project by conducting an epidemiological study on effects of air pollution, traffic noise and other pollutants on risk of cardiovascular and other diseases based on the entire Danish population. We have already established information on long-term exposure to several air pollutants and traffic noise for all residents. To enable development of an exposure model for estimation of ultrafine particles, we will furthermore conduct a measuring campaign in Denmark, where we will measure ultrafine particles across two seasons (app. 2 weeks in each season) using a car with measuring equipment.
